The genesis of the Rollo chair stemmed from a collaborative effort with a client, integrating their proprietary bio-materials into the prototyping phase.
Drawing inspiration from the inherent circularity of their bio-composite material and employing semiotic cues from historical harvesting implements, the design took shape.
Subsequently, the concept underwent iterative refinement and development. Crafted meticulously by hand, the chair features a robust frame constructed from polyester powder-coated steel tubes. Upholstered in 100% polyester fabric and padded with polyurethane high-density foam, it embodies a fusion of innovative materials and artisanal craftsmanship.
