Branding, Packaging & Art Direction for Elara, a new beauty brand launching soon in Angola.
The brand, drawing inspiration from its namesake, one of Jupiter's moons, is an ode to femininity that aims to empower women with bold and colourful makeup, allowing them to sculpt and highlight their features confidently. Reflecting women’s beauty through light and boldness in harmony, Elara is the perfect balance between energy and delicacy.
The custom logotype, featuring lunar-shaped letters and floating dots, is a tribute to the moon and symbolises symmetry and reflection, echoing the imperfect symmetry of the human face.
The logo, through its shapes and curves, also represents facial features like cheekbones, brow bones & eyelids. The letters high contrast brings elegance while translating the idea of movement, energy and confidence that face sculpting suggests.
The abstract nature of the logo allows for versatility across packaging assets, while the two dots serve as a recognisable brand identifier, enhancing brand awareness.
